11th January - M&J Support Springboards Sustainable Seafood Master Class

Friday 12th February 2010, 10am to 2.30pm at Café Spice Namasté, 16 Prescot Street, London E1 8AZ.

M&J Seafood, a leading supplier of seafood to the UK foodservice sector is supporting a Sustainable Seafood Master Class, organised by The Springboard Charity.

The Master Class will be hosted by Springboard’s most fervent ambassador, Cyrus Todiwala OBE. Cyrus will be giving delegates some inspirational recipe ideas and tips on how to use sustainable fish and shell fish.

Mike Berthet, director of M&J Seafood will also be on hand to explain the current crisis surrounding sustainable seafood and Neil Poxon M&J’s top blockman will demonstrate how to cut fish professionally.

Representatives from The Marine Conservation Society, The Marine Stewardship Council, SeaWeb’s Seafood Choices Alliance and Sustain will also be discussing sustainability and run a top tips session.
